Development Objectives
The objective of the developers of Dammeron Valley is to create a development reflecting an ecological balance with nature. The developers are keenly concerned about the environment; thus providing underground utilities so not to encroach on the beauty of the natural setting.
Streets
The streets are hard surfaced, built to county standards and maintained by the county.
Utilities - All service lines are underground
Power is served by Rocky Mountain Power
Telephone and internet service is provided by Qwest.
Natural Gas Provided by Questar Gas.
Water is served by Dammeron Valley Water Works which is owned
by The Dammeron Corporation.
Rates for these utilities are regulated by the Utah Public Service Commission.
Septic tanks for sewage are allowed on all Dammeron Valley lots, except those in Pinion Hills. Pinion Hills is serviced by a sewer collection and disposal system operated by the Dammeron Valley Special Services District (SSD).
Water System
By the early 1990s the original water system was showing it age; causing occasional outages throughout the service area. A major overhaul of the water system was completed in 1995 with the installation of two 250,000 gallon concrete water tanks; one located on the north end and the other at the south end of the valley. New main line pipes were also installed. The tanks are serviced by two wells located on Bonnie Springs Road north east of the valley. Since going on line there has not been an over all water outage. The system is now capable of servicing 500 homesites as well as irrigation for home gardens and small pastures.
